The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

G.M. Ryan, rider of Battling Siki, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tyraxes, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Taj Crown, trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Shay's Dream, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared leaving the stalls and hit his head.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Guinelot (FR), trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around up the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shay's Dream, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have grazed its forehead and have a skin wound on its right flank post race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the home straight involving Taj Crown, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, and Guinelot (FR), ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that contact was made at the top of the straight but wasn't sure how much it had cost him. D.W. O'Connor stated that his mount was green and rolled around up the straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Michael Mulvany, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Nephin Mountain, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Michael Mulvany reported that his charge may not have stayed the last day and that todays trip may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Coolshine, trained by K.A. Heffernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried off the bend. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

T. Casey, rider of Nephin Mountain, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung off the bend.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Music And Song, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards informed R.Donohoe, trainer that Daboya, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gerard Keane, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of War Rooms, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Gerard Keane reported that the reapplication of cheekpieces and step up in trip may have contributed to the apparent improvement of form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Daboya, trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount panicked in the stalls.

Following an application by the IHRB Handicapper, arising from an error in the published rating of Copper Craft ahead of this race, the IHRB has granted permission under the provisions of Rule 33 for Copper Craft’s weight to be amended to 9st 7lbs.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Copper Craft, trained by A. Oliver, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mark Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Reflectionist (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mark Fahey reported that the application of first time cheekpieces and removal of the tongue strap may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Tassarolo (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to sit and wait until the turn in.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Figero, trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
